Hiltop Haven: The Double Stack

Felt cheap Positive: Location was nice although driveway is pretty rough and nearly impossible unless you have 4 wheel drive hot tub was nice Negative: Code wasn't programmed when we got there had to text manager to get right code ... doors were weak and sloppy ... outside hvac unit very noisy coukd hear inside all the time even when sleeping ... water reaked of sewage sulfer smell one shower and the whole place was almost unbearable ... light quit working and wifi went down kicked a breaker which we didn't do anything extra to kick the breaker just over all felt very cheap for the price we were paying for two nights

We loved the location of the property and the hot tub and fire pit were a bonus. The Double Stack is very private and secluded, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. It’s about 15 minutes from restaurants/ shopping and 30 minutes from hiking attractions. The owner is very responsive and we had no issues with communication. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a great weekend. There was plenty of space for two adults and two dogs. We didn’t bring our son but there would have been plenty room for him too. Everything was clean and working and the setting was very serene and pleasant.

The Double Stack was super cute and perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband. The property was cute and well thought out. There were a couple of minor repairs and things that need fixing; the upstairs lights didn’t work at all (except the bathroom), a few downstairs lightbulbs were burned out, and the coffee maker didn’t work. However, those are minor inconveniences. The host pretty much has everything you need there except food. The 3 different levels of outdoor seating/areas was really nice. The hot tub was perfect and relaxing. I’d recommend to a friends for sure!
