Gentle Breeze: The Evergreen

Check-in was easy, and the host was excellent when it came to communication. Customer service was truly 10/10, and they did a great job providing amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and paper towels.That said, I personally wouldn’t stay at this cabin again. First impressions matter, and unfortunately there were several issues upon arrival. There were multiple spider webs both high and low throughout the cabin, a noticeable mildew smell, and an unusual odor in the living room and kitchen area. The shower curtain liner had pink mildew covering the entire bottom portion. While the jacuzzi itself appeared clean, the cover was very dirty. After showering, I didn’t feel comfortable touching the filthy cover to open it, so I chose not to use the hot tub.There were only two towels provided, so I would recommend bringing extras if you plan to use the hot tub. Also, one side of the bed is pushed against the wall, which makes getting in and out of bed inconvenient for one person.Overall, the host was accommodating and provided outstanding customer service. I would definitely consider staying at one of their other properties in the future. I hope they take this review as constructive feedback, as addressing these cleanliness and maintenance issues would greatly improve the guest experience.

The host responded quickly to my questions.The cabin was very clean and cute.The front and back porch lights did not work. The gas grill was in bad shape. There was a dishwasher, but no racks in it. The outdoor property was very quiet and relaxing. Nice area to walk our dog. Thank you!

Great place to stay for a weekend at Hocking Hills. Close to everything we needed but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of space to walk the dogs.
