Good Vibes Only

There were good things, but overall I would not book with this host again. The original property we rented was not like it was listed…floors were squishy/seperating, it was freezing cold, the furniture in the listing is not what was in the house, but we were willing to make it work until we realized the hot tub would not keep temp, even overnight without us using it. The host was responsive and tried to fix it but ultimately moved us to a new property the next morning and that was a bit better. The hot tub was much better there, the house a similar size, but we went from 2 bathrooms to 1 with 6 people…it just was not enjoyable. Both houses were cold and had wild cold drafts all over, we were here in winter and it was unpleasant. Things are broken and unfinished all over, our socks were dirty from walking on floors that were just cleaned that morning, the back door scraps the floor when you try to use it…you get the vibe. We lovingly joked that this is a landlord special because we were trying to make the best of our trip…I appreciate the hospitality of moving us to a new property, but it did not salvage the trip. Having to unpack then repack then unpack again on a long weekend trip really took a toll and we wouldn’t have had to move at all if this wasn’t a landlord special. 3 stars for your kindness, but an honest review would be more 1.5/2 stars.

Wonderful stay. Great host, plenty of amenities, beautiful view

Host was very responsive and helpful. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked (plenty of dishes, pots and pans, towels, and coffee).

Great spot for a quick weekend family getaway. We loved the hot tub and the mini pool table. The description and comments about the spiral staircase is spot-on too…it’s a tight fit! Beds were comfy, beach towels for the hot tub a nice surprise too.
