Good Vibes Only

We stayed at this property over the weekend and had a generally enjoyable experience. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had a really unique and inviting setup. The amenities were fantastic especially the updated pool table.Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues that took away from what otherwise could have been an exceptional stay.- Propane: The propane tanks were nearly empty upon our arrival.- Hot Water: There were issues with the hot water all encompassing, including the upstairs shower not having hot water at all and with 5 people showering, that was a major downfall!- Bathroom Faucet: The upstairs faucet sprayed water toward you when turned on.- Cleanliness: We noticed trash and debris underneath the beds, and the bathroom rugs appeared dingy and dirty. Downstairs bathtub was cool but the iron residue needs cleaned. We have the same issue with our house, but Wink Rust Stain Remover is a fix- Hot Tub: Although the hot tub was a great amenity to have, the water was murky, which was disappointing.- Bedroom Lighting: The bedroom light wasn't functioning, seemingly due to a dead remote battery, and there were no spare batteries available.- Linens: There were only 3 washcloths and 5 people staying at the property for 2 days. Overall, this property has so much potential! With some additional attention to routine maintenance, cleanliness, and ensuring everything is in working order between guests, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Couples get away with a view Positive: The view from the balcony, the kitchen and the bedroom facing the lake were great! The pool table, upstairs mini fridge and stocked coffee bar were nice added touches. The tile work through out the home was very nice. The beds were comfortable. And of course the hot tub! It 2as actually the cleanest one we have ever seen at a private rental. Negative: There is some wear and tear that does detract from the stay. The fact we had to walk through the grass to get in as the steps were over grown with weeds and the parking bumpers were knocked off the parking area was off putting. On the balcony the seats were rickety and very worn.

We enjoyed the lake views and the big gathering space in the kitchen. The pool table was a hit with some in our group. The sunsets were great! The spiral staircase was a challenge, especially with luggage. The big slope from the cement parking pad to the front door was also a challenge with luggage. Rachel was very responsive with contacts and information. It was a good place to stay for a family wedding in the area.

Very spacious. Quick response. Easy check in. Clean. Ample parking. Pretty decor. Lots of cookware, dinnerware, glassware, utensils. Host was very accommodating.

Perfect spot for anyone visiting Legend Valley, or Buckeye lake. The hot water upstairs is a little slow to come up from the heater, but if you turn on the sink Hot water tap, it draws it up faster. The house is a little tricky for parking. But it’s not to difficult to manage. Spiral staircase is not suitable for large people. (Meaning anyone over 6’4”, and 240lbs) however, you can access the downstairs by the driveway. The hot tub was a life saver, after long nights of dancing.
