Unsafe, unsanitary, look elsewhere. Positive: walkable location, comfortable beds, responsive host, cute set up without looking too deeply. Negative: very unclean! :( major ant issue in kitchen, bathroom, and one bedroom. we vacuumed and shocked the hot tub before use due to its condition. this was not from well water, as mentioned by host, this was dirt and debris, dead bugs, cloudy water. I would recommend wearing slides in the shower as the grout looked rough as well as the curtain liner being very discolored. maybe the well water could get a pass there, but liners are also $3. there were dirty dishes put back in the cabinets with obvious food stuck on, Tupperware put back wet and sealed, smelled of mildew. Gunk in garbage disposal. The pot hanger above the stove was covered in cobwebs and hair. I certainly don't recommend cooking. And after seeing other reviews, this unfortunately seems to be an ongoing overlooked issue of cleanliness factor. The fire extinguisher was also empty and pin was placed back in, not fully so still enough to notice it had been pulled. tank read at zero. I was told it was from the fire department and had been inspected but there was no tag to verify, and of course it surely hadn't been since it was empty. Propane was out for fire table which was replaced the next day but it was only a 2 night stay, so not of much use. Lawn was very overgrown and outside trash bin was overflowing onto the ground. Apparently trash pick up was the day prior to our check in but it was left.. right outside the bedroom window so the smell could vent in through the fan/ac unit. There was also absolutely no privacy. The only actual door is (thankfully) on the bathroom which still may pop open even upon locking. Bedroom doors are sliders and the primary bedroom slider does not cover the whole doorway, nor does it have a bottom track so it will just sway in the wind. And no privacy around the hot tub which is basically on top of the neighbors driveway. And at least they are pleasant, but you'll be making small talk in your swimming attire.

Such a cute, well managed house with all of the essentials & more! Positive: Bed very comfortable, we didn’t cook but the kitchen coffee bar was perfect & well stocked with medium roast! Negative: The uneven floor, a step up & a step down, Take care with elderly.

This property was perfect for our needs. We stayed in this location to be able to access the Columbus zoo & Hocking Hills. It was close to Buckeye Lake and many restaurants. The primary suite was very roomy and comfortable, easy to log into any streaming platform for the evenings. The kitchen was cute and functional, we did not use the oven or stovetop. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was adequate. Some of the towels provided had stains but we brought our own towels anyway. The hot tub was very nice, clean, and hot. (Beach towels were also provided) It would’ve been nice for more privacy but the neighbors and neighborhood were very quiet and clean. No one bothered us the whole stay. The host was very nice and quick to accommodate any of our needs, such as, when we first arrived the central air was not working but she had a portable AC delivered and installed for us within an hour.

I would give cleanliness zero stars if I could. There were hundreds of bugs when we entered the place. We spent the first hour of our trip cleaning.
